About the Graphical 9/11 Timeline Web Site

This web site was created to provide a way to see the major events of September 11, 2001 all on a single page. It allows you to see the actions and responses to those actions as they unfolded.

Creating this website did not involve a lot time doing research - the necessary research has already been done by several people who have created very informative web sites. Major amounts of information were taken from the followings:

A major inspiration for this web site is Charles Joseph Minard's graphical map of the losses suffered by Napoleon's army in the Russian campaign of 1812. Minard's map is an anti-war statement that clearly shows what a disaster war is.

It is hoped that this graphical representation of a 21st century disaster may lead to a better understanding of the events of that tragic day and to a true understanding of the collosal failures of the Bush Administration on that day. Such understanding will hopefully lead to the deeper truth that violence cannot be ended by violence; that war is not the correct answer to even a horror such as the events of 9/11.
