Welcome to the web workshop, where techniques will be discussed, projects in process will be explained and proposals of web work are gladly accepted.

In techniques you may learn a new javascript, CSS and DHTML trick or two. On the workbench are a few web design proposals meant to solve some common problems. Sites contains links to past work and in the about section a bit about me and my web work philosophy.

If you are interested in getting some work done the commissions section will help you get the ball rolling. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

about my work

When our first computer arrived back in the 90's it looked to me like a typerwriter with a TV screen. So began a long trek up a Matterhorn of information to digital comprehension.

Helping someone realize a website in harmony with their aspirations is always an interesting challenge. I believe that integrating your ideas with clear composition, simple design and navigational ease is the best way to achieve this goal.

Past projects have been primarily for individuals, small organizations or businesses, but I am always open to review of other kinds of work. Large or complex projects can be developed in partnership with my associate at Fat Kitty Graphics.

With your project description include if possible any links to sites that look something like what you have in mind.

techniques

First is that it is assumed you have some experience writing basic HTML and javascript as otherwise this section won't make much sense.

workbench: proposed designs

  • Jensen & Chin- A friend's business site begging for an updated design. Decided that a visual make-over with a bit of javascript functionality would do the trick.

    Current Site Proposed Design

  • OM Networking- Another friend's business site. Added a bit of color, simple lay-out with a pinch of graphic design.

    Current Site Proposed Design

  • kunstler.com- Integration of current design with a solution to problems caused by frames- a compromise.
